Welcome to the newest podcast series: Ruth-Finding Joy in Tough Times and Trusting in God’s Goodness. The Book of Ruth reveals God’s goodness. It’s about God’s providence, Godly relationships, and most importantly, how God uses faithful women and men in Salvation history, especially Ruth, a refugee and convert who ended up in the lineage of Jesus Christ. God’s Word is always alive and fresh and will speak to our hearts through the Holy Spirit and, in this case, through the Book of Ruth.
Hebrews 4: 12 assures us: “[T]he word of God is always living and active.”
My journey with Ruth started when Pope Benedict XV1, in the summer of August 2011, encouraged the faithful to read the Book of Ruth. So I did and invited others to join me. We had fresh insights, and God spoke to our hearts in amazing ways. Since then, I have led many joy-filled studies on the Book of Ruth. So, even if you have read Ruth before, let's read it again with a new heart and open mind to hear what the Holy Spirit may teach us today. Listen to the new series today HERE.

When we wonder where God is in our lives, families, or communities, the Book of Esther reminds us that God never abandons us. He is faithful. If you have never studied Esther before, now it’s a good time to start. Esther is about trusting in God, interceding in prayer, and receiving the strength to stand firm amid life's challenges. It is about gentle leadership and discernment from God in difficult times.
Most importantly, Esther is a dramatic story of how God can bring reversals in situations, circumstances, and relationships for you and your family. In Esther's case, 15 reversals in circumstances and relationships brought joy and consolation to God's people, resulting in the annual Jewish celebration of the Feast of Purim. Esther is a book of faith, hope, and joy that will speak to you today.
